Control direction to eat glowing red food items. Each item grows your snake by one segment and boosts your score. Speed increases as score rises!

Steer the snake head in four cardinal directions (Up, Down, Left, Right).
The snake moves forward continuously and cannot move directly backwards into itself.
Eating food increments score and adds one body segment to the snake tail.
Crashing into the outer boundary walls or into any part of your own snake body results in game over.

The Perimeter Wall Strategy: As your snake grows long, patrol the outer edge of the grid and sweep across in back-and-forth zigzag patterns.
Always Leave an Escape Path: Never trap your head in a closed loop or spiral with no exit vector.
Patience Over Speed: On higher speeds, tap turns slightly earlier than you think to buffer directional changes cleanly.

Difficulty settings modify the base movement speed and speed acceleration multipliers per food item collected.
