📖 How to Play & Game Overview
Use Arrow Keys or Swipe to navigate Pac-Man through the grid. Eat all yellow dots while dodging ghosts. Eat big flashing dots to turn ghosts blue and hunt them down for extra points!
Core Game Rules:
- Clear the maze by consuming all 240 pac-dots and 4 energizer power pellets.
- Touching any active colored ghost costs one life. You start with 3 lives.
- Consuming a flashing Power Pellet turns all ghosts blue and vulnerable for a limited timer.
- Eating blue ghosts awards escalating point bonuses: 200, 400, 800, and 1600 points.
- Side warp tunnels slow down ghosts while allowing Pac-Man to travel through at full speed.
Winning Strategies & Tips:
- Understand Ghost Personalities: Blinky (Red) chases Pac-Man directly; Pinky (Pink) targets 4 tiles ahead of Pac-Man to ambush; Inky (Cyan) flanks unpredictably; Clyde (Orange) wanders away when close.
- Clear Bottom Corridors First: Clear the lower maze and dangerous dead-ends early while ghosts are still dispersing from the ghost house.
- Corner Looping: Use the rapid corner turns where Pac-Man turns faster than ghosts to break line of sight and escape pursuers.
- Time Power Pellets Strategically: Don't grab power pellets immediately—wait until 2 or 3 ghosts are closing in to maximize your combo score.
